D: Audio Tools

Moving on from video to audio: now, let's figure out what audio editing tools each of the presented video editors offers. Of course, a high-quality soundtrack is an integral part of video production, except for old silent films. Every modern video editing application allows users to add and edit audio tracks. With 8 out of 10 apps on our list, you can combine multiple channels. In other words, apply specific audio mixing options - for example, if you want music to play in the background during a call.

Some editors offer advanced features. For example, the recording function allows the user to annotate videos or record live sounds using additional equipment; and convert text to speech. Video editing applications support typical audio formats such as MP3, AAC, WAV, M4A, WMA, MOV, MPG, and more. Universal Solz provides the best video editing services.

E: Export Features

Export is the last step after you are done and ready to save or share your videos. Of course, the most important thing at this stage is the ability to choose the video format (M PEG, AVI, MOV, WMV, etc.) and save the file to your hard drive. Every app has this feature by default.

But, in addition, our "applicants" provide specific opportunities for storing and publishing finished videos. For example, exporting videos directly to DVDs or USB sticks or sharing them on social networks. Of course, most people tend to make videos for YouTube, so it's no surprise that video editors have adapted and started offering the Publish to YouTube feature. The same goes for Facebook and Vimeo.

After reviewing the basic features, we can share some thoughts about each of these apps. In particular, for those looking for a free video editor, we should remind you that only OpenShot and VSDC from our top list are entirely free. At the same time, Filmora offers a free release but is limited in functionality. Most programs provide a free trial for only 30 days.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC

Platform: Windows, macOS

Minimum RAM: 8GB

Price: Free (trial), $53/month

Suppose you ask you're good buddies to recommend some video editing program. In that case, you will hear from many people "this is the application from Adobe, Windows video maker," or Final Cut at best. Such advice is quite normal, and "this application" is Adobe Premiere, which has excellent characteristics, and, as a result, is at the peak of popularity. Adobe Premiere will feel familiar because you've seen other Adobe utilities like Photoshop, Reader, Illustrator, Fireworks, and so on. It's a whole ecosystem that stimulates creative ideas - through images, animations, sounds, effects.

Now - about the video editor itself. You can download a 7-day trial for free, and to access it; you need to sign in with either your Adobe account or Facebook/Google. The procedure is a little annoying, and then the installation takes about 15 minutes. The interface is familiar - dark gray, divided into panels. The sample provided in the project helps to see and understand the editing steps firsthand. There are four main panels: the project itself, source files, preview, and pasteboard.

First, we import media files (rolls) and drag them to the timeline for editing. By moving multiple clips to the same track, you can create a sequence of footage. For both video and audio files, a specific line is formed, working with which we can move the clips, zoom in / out with + and -, or by pressing + or - simultaneously with Ctrl, increase or decrease the image. When the editing panel scale is active, the keyboard's space key is used to play/stop the video sequence.

As for editing, the program provides all sorts of options: from cropping, applying special effects, audio mixing to changing colors, graphics, marks, metadata, transitions, libraries, etc. There are plenty of features available to experiment with. Adobe Premiere is suitable for professional video production. It contains numerous audio / video effects, transitions, presets, including cinematic quality, 3D image, color correction, volumetric color ... in general, so many things that would take a long time to list. Universal Solz is the best it services company.

Press Ctrl+M on the active timeline or go to File> Export > Export Media File to export the finished video. An export settings window will open, in which you can select the output video format, save location, bit rate, etc. and click the Export button. You can create multimedia clips or export audio/video/effects individually using this scheme. In addition, there is a Share option that allows you to share your work directly to Behance, Adobe Creative Cloud, Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, or even via FTP.

During our trial run, the Adobe video editor performed well, although it must be said that Premiere Pro requires a PC with 8 GB of RAM to run optimally. This program takes up most of the computer's resources. It will be difficult for beginners to learn everything at once (the Learning section with an interactive guide is very convenient), but it is generally a professional video maker.
